Contracts Administrator/Manager:
Hydroid is seeking a Contracts Administrator/Manager to manage all company contract matters to ensure legal, cost, documentation, schedule, and other requirements are met. Significant responsibilities include:
-Managing contracts "cradle to grave", primarily prime contracts from federal government agencies, as well as commercial contracts and subcontracts.
-Managing all other aspects of contracts including preparing pricing and business proposals,contract negotiations, contract modifications, close-outs, and start-ups, and amendments and extensions to contracts.
-Preparing and reviewing teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, subcontracts and consulting agreements.
-Providing advice and recommendations to internal project managers and the company's Executive Management relative to Hydroid's contracts;prepare all internal contract reports and information.
-Maintain contract records;serve as the central repository of all active and completed contracts.
-Support business development by reviewing technical proposals for RFP compliance; ensuring cost proposals are prepared according to company policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
-Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in business and a minimum of 8 years experience in the Federal government contracting arena, Excellent oral and written communication skills, Demonstrated knowledge of the FAR and CAS, Experience with multiple contract types, performance-based contracting, and GSA schedules, the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. High level of proficiency with MS Excel and other software applications is expected.

Program Manager:
Hydroid is seeking a Program Manager to manage cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs/projects or subsystems of major programs/projects. Significant responsibilities include:
-Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion
-Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes
-Participates in the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
-Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
-Manage program schedule - Analyze program critical path and execute corrective action plans as required.
-Lead Program Risk Management process.
-Ensure program meets revenue, profit and cash flow expectations.
-Identify potential new business opportunities that materialize during program execution.
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Engineering and a minimum of 8 years experience in Program Management of US Government contracts, with DOD/US Navy experience preferred. Formal Program Management Training is desired. Excellent oral and written communication skills, experience managing in a program with Earned Value Management (EVM) and reporting requirements, high level of proficiency with MS Project and other software applications is expected.

Field Technician:
Hydroid currently has an opening for a field service technician. The successful candidate will have mechanical and electronics troubleshooting experience with complex, software intensive systems. Domestic and international travel, of as much as 50% per year is required. The position will also require time spent outdoors, year round, working on small and large vessels, making at sea and small boat operational experience a plus. Cruise time, at sea, as long as 30 days is expected. Good communication skills and the ability to work within a dynamic group of highly motivated individuals is a must. The ability to obtain security clearance is required. We offer a competitive benefits package. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Sales Engineer:
Currently there is an opening in our growing marketing department for an experienced Sales Engineer. The successful candidate will have experience working in a high tech manufacturing environment focused on both domestic and international markets.
Extensive travel will be required. Prior familiarity with US Government FAR is a plus. Candidates must have a BS degree in engineering; a degree in ocean engineering is preferred.
