Manufacturing Assembler:
Hydroid currently has an opening for a Manufacturing Technician. The successful candidate will have electro-mechanical assembly experience with the ability to follow assembly drawings/process sheets - able to trace electronic circuits and wiring diagrams. Must be comfortable using hand tools and possess soldering skills; certification is a +. Good communication skills and the ability to work within a dynamic group of highly motivated individuals is a required. Candidates need 2 - 3 years of previous electronics experience. An understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, IE, and ERPs is necessary. Will train candidates with related experience.

Position may require heavy lifting and boating. Water safety skills are a plus. The ability to obtain a security clearance is required.

Accountant:
Hydroid seeks a highly qualified Accountant who will keep records of the costs associated with production and distribution. This position’s primary responsibilities include establishing controlling standards for product costs, budget allocations and material usage to ensure accurate controlling and reporting of operational performance. The Accountant will also provide management with in-depth financial reports to be used in decision-making, oversee the operation, maintenance, and procedures of the organization's financial systems, and assist in the upgrading of accounting procedures and policies.  BS degree in Accounting or Finance required with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, government contract experience a +.  

Adminstrative Assistant:
Hydroid seeks a highly qualified Administrative Assistant to perform complex and diverse administrative duties in direct support of the management team. The candidate must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team; attention to detail; flexibility; strong verbal and written communications skills; capable of proofing and editing complex documents. Must be able to prioritize competing demands and follow through on tasks. Should demonstrate advanced computer skills using the Office Suite. Experience in a corporate environment is required.

Electronics Technician:
Hydroid currently has an opening for an electronics technician. The successful candidate will have experience assembling, testing, and repairing electronic subassemblies /systems. A familiarity using hand tools, test equipment, wiring/mechanical diagrams, programming using MPLAB and PROCOMM. Good communication, computer skills and the ability to work within a dynamic group of highly motivated individuals is a must. Candidates must have 2 - 3 years of previous electronics experience. Position may require heavy lifting and boating. Water safety skills are a plus. The ability to obtain a security clearance is required.

Sales Engineer:
Hydroid is seeking an experienced sales engineer. The successful candidate will have experience working in a high tech manufacturing environment focused on both domestic and international markets as well as US and international defense agencies.

Extensive travel to domestic customers will be required. Prior experience selling to the U.S. Navy, and a familiarity with U.S. Government F.A.R. is a plus. Candidates must have a B.S. degree in Engineering. A degree in Ocean Engineering is preferred.

Software Engineer:
A four year old, financially strong company that develops and manufactures underwater robotic vehicles is seeking a Software Engineer in our growing engineering department.

The successful candidate will have experience with both the Win16 and Win32 API, have object oriented experience with Borland C++ and Microsoft Visual C++. Experience with HTML, Matlab, CVS and embedded systems is a plus. Must be able to work within a dynamic group of highly motivated individuals.

B.S. degree in C.S. or E.E., M.S. preferred, with a minimum of 5 years experience. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
